Molten Brownie Bites

So, I know a lot of people that when you diet you have to cut out all desserts, chocolate, etc etc. I'm here to tell you, that is not true. You can still indulge in a delicious, rich, chocolate-y dessert once in a while and still keep on your diet. Now, this is not to say that you can have dessert every single night, because that would only be counterintuitive to your diet. You shouldn't deprive yourself of a treat now and then.

Here is a recipe for Molten Brownie bites that are only 300 calories per serving compared to, say, Chili's Molten Chocolate, which has 1,270 calories! (And that's JUST dessert!)

Molten Brownie Bites
12 servings
Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz) box Ghiradello Double or Triple Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup low fat mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup unsalted melted butter
  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Coat 24 cup mini-muffin (2") pan well with cooking spray
  2. Place brownie mis in large bowl. Beat eggs, yolk, and mayonnaise in small bow with electric mixer on high speed for 2 minutes. Add egg mixture and butter to mix and stir
  3. Spoon batter into muffin pan, filling each to the top. Bake 10 minutes or until top is just cooked and inside is still soft
  4. Remove bites from pan gently and serve immediately.

  1. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I am always on a diet but I do make sure to have a cheat day once a week, a girl needs to feed her sweet tooth every now and then
